So Many Mongoose

Mongoose...so many mongooses in the yard in Marloth Park, South Africa. They come for salad scraps, drink from the fountain & a quick snuggle before they wiggle on down the road.

The mongoose are very sweet & skittish. (and they scare me, together they will take down a snake, seriously, look it up).  What a sight to see, parading in from the bush under the fence, right up to the patio door. They knew exactly where they were going. It was me that was standing in awe not ready for dinner.

A group is called a mob, pack, gang, or troop. They are social animals that rear their young together.
